Brenda Mkwesha

Brenda Mkwesha is our new co-worker at the regional office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She will be working as a programme officer and be responsible for some of our partners and work with advocacy and networking.

Brenda was born in Zimbabwe and just before she joined International Institute of IOGT-NTO-movement she was working for our partner Kenya Girl Guides Association, KGGA in Nairobi, Kenya as the Executive Officer. At KGGA she was also the Programme Coordinator for the IOGT-NTO Alcohol project. Before that she volunteered with KGGA and worked on the baseline survey of the Alcohol project.

Brenda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Austin Peay State University, Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Strategic Management from Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

Brenda is married and is the mother of a three year-old son.
